It is with great sadness we share that Retired Engineer Banks Williams
passed away on May 21, 2026. He was 91 years of age and served with
the CFD for 26 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 66 years, Katy,
his children-Karen, Lauren and Darrell. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Hill.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Davidson United Methodist Church in Davidson, North Carolina. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Davidson.
