It is with great sadness we share that Boyd McGee, father of retired Captain Brian McGee
passed away on January 19, 2025 at 87 years of age.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at
Back Creek Church
1821 Back Creek Church Rd
Charlotte, NC 28213
A funeral service will immediately follow. Boyd will be laid to rest at Back Creek Church Cemetery.

It is with sadness and a heavy heart to announce the passing of Mrs. Beverly Lynn Harwell, mother of Captain Russ Harwell (Ladder 31-A). Mrs. Harwell is also the cousin of Engineer Robbie Washam (Station 17-Retired) and Captain Eddie Black (Station 18-Retired). Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 26 at James Funeral Home in Huntersville with visitation to follow.
