As a reminder, the USBank’s retiree portal remains unavailable due to security upgrades. Unfortunately, USBank’s retiree portal experienced unauthorized bank change activity for some CFRS retirees. USBank thwarted the attempt and all CFRS members’ records are intact. USBank has notified the affected members. The CFRS requested that USBank close the portal as soon as it was notified of the unauthorized activity. The CFRS reviewed its IT systems and programs and confirmed no unauthorized access of its systems.

Once USBank completes its investigation and security upgrades, communication will be sent to all retirees regarding re-accessing the portal. The safety and security of members’ data is of the utmost importance and the portal will only be reopened when the CFRS is confident in the security updates being made by USBank. While the portal remains shut down for retiree access, all changes for banking, tax withholding elections and address changes must go through the CFRS office.
